During the February MCADA meeting, Missouri CAN will host a workshop for MCADA members and other designated "Advocacy Points of Contact" established for the 2018 legislative session. Plese see below for details:

10:00 am-11:30 am:  Workshop for both MCADA members and other Advocacy Points of Contact

Noon-1:30 pm:  Lunch and roundtable discussion at Madison's Cafe for Advocacy Points of Contact not part of MCADA

The goal of this session is to:  provide an overview of the Network's 2018 Advocacy Plan; discuss the differences between public education, advocacy and lobbying; detail the advocacy resources offered by Missouri CAN to assist you in your efforts; share plans for this year's Network Week of Advocacy (week of March 19); and summarize the legislation that Missouri CAN is tracking on behalf of the Network during the 2018 Missouri General Assembly.
