Summary

Many Missouri CAA’s are embarking on Strategic Planning processes this year! Missouri CAN has contracted Wipfli for a statewide training workshop on action planning and accountability support as a part of their phases of the strategic planning process.

Description

You create your Strategic Plan – it meets requirements and gives you a path forward. Now what? How do you keep it alive, agile, and as a tool that really moves the needle in your organization?

Creating solid action plans, as well as an accountability framework is critical.

Through this workshop, agency teams will work together to identify the champions, timelines, and measurements that will serve as an agile roadmap for the next three years. Ideas between agencies and resources and tips will be shared.

About the Workshop:

Objectives:

  • Identify Priority Team Leaders that are accountable for each strategic priority through a pre-planning call with CAAs. 
  • Train participants on process of developing organization-wide action plans, comprised of the initiatives, performance measures, action items, and timelines for the first 90-180 days of the plan. Templates and tips provided as resources.
  • Provide time for participants to work on action plans with consultation support by facilitators.
  • Define accountability for the implementation process. 
  • Build a draft performance management plan that allows for ongoing evaluation of the action plans and progress made toward successful achievement of the goals and initiatives.
  • Provide knowledge and resources for regular communication and reporting of the progress toward strategic plan goals.

Registration Cost:

$50 per registrant, up to 3 registrants per agency.

This project/program is funded at 76% at $9,900 with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division. The cost also covers lunch.
