About the Experience

Session 301: Coaching, De-escalation, and Advanced Case Management Strategies

This advanced session equips case managers with tools to guide clients toward long-term, sustainable change through coaching and motivational techniques. Participants will learn strategies for de-escalating tense situations and managing challenging client interactions, fostering a calm and supportive environment. The session will explore when and how to transition clients toward case termination, ensuring a smooth and successful service completion. Attendees will also examine advanced documentation practices, focusing on writing high-quality case notes and tracking progress effectively. By the end of the session, participants will be confident in their ability to handle complex cases, provide empowering coaching, and ensure clients achieve lasting outcomes.
