Description

Missouri CAN's Resilience Planning Workshop:

In today’s unprecedented and tumultuous political and economic climate, Community Action Agencies are facing growing challenges—funding cuts, job losses, and increasing barriers to serving individuals and families in poverty. To navigate these uncertain times, Missouri CAN is offering a Resilience Planning Workshop designed to equip agency leadership with the strategies and tools needed to adapt and thrive.

This hands-on, practical training is designed for executive directors, financial directors, and other key leadership members (maximum of three attendees per agency). Participants will engage in strategy development sessions tailored to strengthening local agency operations, preparing for various scenarios, and growing skills for engagement with your teams and external stakeholders.

Key Topics Covered:

✔ Effective communication with Board members during times of crisis
Talking to the media with confidence and clarity
✔ Developing agency-specific resilience strategies to sustain services and impact

This workshop goes beyond theory—leaders will walk away with actionable plans to reinforce their agency’s stability and mission-driven effectiveness.

Registration Cost: No cost to your agency.

This project/program is at no cost to attendees or their agency. All trainings in this series are hosted by Missouri CAN staff.

Lunch will be catered for attendees.
