The 2026 Missouri Community Action Network Annual Conference is the premier gathering of changemakers, advocates, and leaders dedicated to transforming lives and communities across the state. This year, we celebrate Bright Lights, Bold Futures, a time of innovation, progress, and shared vision for a brighter future. Join us as we come together to learn, connect, and inspire action that will shape Missouri’s tomorrow. Staff, partners, and leaders of Missouri's Community Action Agencies will gather to learn best practices to improve conditions of poverty in local communities.

The 2026 Missouri Community Action Network Annual Conference will take place May19 - 21, 2026.  This longstanding event brings together staff from Missouri's 19 Community Action Agencies for three days of training workshops, networking, and fun.  Our Annual Conference allows us to recognize community partners who share in our vision, acknowledge and celebrate outstanding leadership, and equip our members with valuable learning opportunities. With your organization as our partner, we're sure to achieve our goal of equipping more Community Action staff with the tools and resources they need to help low-income families achieve economic stability. Your willingness to exhibit is an investment in your own community as staff return to every corner of the state with the skills and knowledge needed to help your community and its people thrive.  We want to thank you for your willingness to support this event and strengthen our Missouri network.

Conference Dates

May 19 - 21, 2026

Onsite check-in will begin on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 9:00 AM with exhibitor setup to be completed no later than 10:30 AM.  The Annual Conference will commence at 11 am with our opening luncheon, followed by three days of training content.  The event will wrap up on Thursday, May 21, 2026 with our closing.

Location

Missouri CAN's 2026 Annual Conference will be held at the InterContinential Hotel, located at 401 Ward Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64112.  We have reserved a block of rooms at a special conference rate of $169 per night.
