About the Experience

This session introduces a structured and ethical approach to analyzing qualitative data using AI as a capacity-building tool. Participants learn a transparent, replicable, and human-verified method for moving from transcripts to themes, ensuring community voice remains central.

Objective: Learn more about secondary data on demographics, poverty, education, housing, and health in your agency region. Learn to generate reports for your Community Needs Assessments, grant applications, and day-to-day research.

o Initial codes

o Theme refinement

o Quote extraction

o Memo writing and synthesis

• Ensuring analytic credibility and transparency

• Safeguards — protecting identity, minimizing bias, and validating AI output

Designed for: Individuals working with thier Agency's CNA in 2026

Outcomes:

Participants will leave able to:

• Conduct qualitative analysis supported by AI

• Validate AI outputs against research standards

• Maintain ethical and community-centered practices

• Produce structured findings ready for CNA reporting

Agencies gain a repeatable qualitative analysis workflow that increases capacity without sacrificing

integrity or equity.

This project/program is funded at 28% at $18,857.61  with federal funds received from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) provided by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division. All trainings in this series are hosted by Missouri CAN staff.
